The Auburn University Rocketry Association, also known as AURA is a student-led organization dedicated to the design, development, and launch of high-powered rockets. Open to students of all majors, AURA provides hands-on experience in an exciting and challenging field that combines engineering, teamwork, and innovation. Members gain practical skills in areas such as propulsion, structures, payload development, recovery systems, and project management while contributing to real aerospace projects.

Every year, our team travels the country to compete against top collegiate teams nationwide. AURA competes in the NASA Student Launch Challenge at the Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, the Argonia Cup Championship in Kansas, and the International Rocket Engineering Competition in Texas.
