Outreach
Our K-12 STEM outreach is a core part of what we do.
AURA is not only devoted to building, designing, and launching rockets to compete in national rocketry competitions, but also to giving back to our community by sharing the excitement of aerospace with K-12 students. Our outreach efforts engage students and families through hands-on STEM activities and educational events. These efforts support Auburn's commitment to active student engagement, interdisciplinary impact, and delivering science and technology-based learning that serves our region and beyond.
From rocket painting with young patients at Children's of Alabama, to hosting space-themed quiz bowls, to helping kids build tiny model rockets at Engineering Grand Challenges, our outreach brings aerospace to life for students and families. No matter the scale, AURA's outreach continues to grow as we find new ways to connect with and inspire the community.
